AdBlue / SCR fix
Symptoms · AdBlue warning countdown, “no restart in X miles”, crystallised injectors, NOx sensor faults, tank heater failures.
What we do · Full SCR system diagnosis, then a permanent repair of the faulty component — ending the countdown and the repeat garage visits.
EGR solutions
Symptoms · Excessive smoke, rough idle, limp mode, poor MPG — a sooted EGR valve slowly choking the engine.
What we do · Diagnose the valve and cooler, clean or repair as appropriate, and verify flow is restored on a road test.
MAF solutions
Symptoms · Flat spots, hesitation under load, intermittent limp mode, air-mass fault codes.
What we do · Test actual vs expected airflow, identify sensor or intake faults, repair and recalibrate.
Swirl flap solutions
Symptoms · Rattles from the intake, low-rev flat spots — and the known risk of flap failure dropping debris into the engine.
What we do · Assess the intake flaps and resolve the fault properly before it becomes an engine-out repair.
Hot start fix
Symptoms · Starts fine cold, struggles or refuses when warm — common on certain diesel pumps and sensors.
What we do · Pinpoint the failing component with live data while hot, then repair — not a parts-cannon guess.
Start-stop disable
Symptoms · Start-stop cutting in when you don’t want it, worn starter concerns, hill-junction hesitation.
What we do · Software-level configuration so the system behaves the way you want it to.
Speed limiter removal
Symptoms · Factory or fleet limiter no longer appropriate for the vehicle’s use.
What we do · Limiter adjusted or removed at ECU level where legal for the vehicle’s use — documented before and after.
Fault code (DTC) solutions
Symptoms · Engine management light, stored codes returning after resets, MOT-failing emissions faults.
What we do · Full-system scan, root-cause diagnosis and repair — we fix the cause, not just turn the light off.
ECU cloning
Symptoms · A failed or damaged ECU, a dealer quote for a new coded unit, or a replacement ECU that won't work with your car.
What we do · Where your ECU type allows it, we clone your original unit's data onto a donor ECU — a cheaper way to repair than buying new. Some ECUs can't be cloned, but many can: call with your details and we'll tell you. We need both the original and the donor ECU.

Do you fix the fault or just clear the warning light?
We fix the fault. Every job starts with a full-system scan and live data, so we find what's actually causing the code. Clearing a light without fixing the cause only means it comes back.
Can you come to me?
Yes. Diagnosis and software work are done at your home or work, anywhere across Devon and Somerset and over the Cornwall border. If a part is needed, we'll tell you what and why before any work is agreed.
Do you remove DPF, AdBlue or EGR systems?
No. We diagnose and repair them so they work as designed. Removing or disabling emissions equipment makes a vehicle illegal to use on the road and an MOT fail.
How do I know what it will cost before you start?
Call or WhatsApp us with the vehicle and what it's doing. Once the scan shows the cause, we explain it and agree the price with you before any repair.
Can my ECU be cloned?
It depends on the ECU fitted to your vehicle — many can be cloned, some can't. Send us the vehicle details and we'll check. For a clone we need both your original ECU and the donor unit.
