Peugeot remapping, mapped to your exact engine
Peugeot's BlueHDi diesels run from the 208 up to the Boxer, which is also the base for a large share of the motorhomes on the road. That mix is why these come to us: a small hatchback wanting to be easier in traffic, and a three-and-a-half-tonne motorhome wanting to climb a hill without dropping to second. Same engine family, very different files.

Peugeot remapping FAQs
Is a Boxer-based motorhome worth doing?
It is one of the jobs we are asked for most in the summer. A motorhome is heavy, tall and usually near its weight limit, so the engine is working hard on every climb. More mid-range torque means fewer gear changes on a long hill and a calmer drive at cruising speed. Tell us its laden weight and whether you tow.
Does it touch the AdBlue or emissions system?
No. The AdBlue, SCR, EGR and filter systems all stay in place and working, which is the only legal way to leave a vehicle used on the road. If you have an AdBlue fault, that is a repair job rather than a mapping job — we diagnose and fix the cause, and we will tell you which one you need.
How long am I without the vehicle?
Usually about an hour, and it never leaves your drive or your pitch. We read the original software, save it, write the new file and check it before we go. If your vehicle is one that needs the ECU off the vehicle to be read, we will tell you before you book, because that takes longer.
Does it need servicing first?
It needs to be in good order, which usually means up to date on servicing with no faults hanging over it. Our terms put that responsibility with the owner, and the diagnostic scan we do first is there to catch anything obvious. If the vehicle is due a service or has a warning light on, sort that first.
