VW remapping, mapped to your exact engine
Volkswagen's TDI and TSI engines sit in everything from a Polo to a Crafter, and a big share of the vans on the roads down here are T5s, T6s and Caddys working for a living. Camper conversions are the other half of the story: heavy, often towing, and asked to pull up long hills fully loaded. The map is written for your van or car as it is now.

VW remapping FAQs
Is it worth remapping a converted camper?
That is one of the jobs we do most. A conversion adds a lot of weight to a van that left the factory expecting to be empty, so it works hardest exactly where a remap helps: pulling away, climbing, and holding a gear on a long drag. Tell us the laden weight and what you tow, and we will map it for that.
Will my DSG cope with the extra torque?
The map is written to stay within what your gearbox is built to handle. On some DSG vehicles a gearbox map is available as well, which sharpens the shift and stops it hunting under load. We will tell you honestly whether yours is one of them rather than selling you something it cannot use.
Does a remap affect the DPF or AdBlue system?
Nothing is removed or switched off — both stay working exactly as the factory intended, which is the only legal way to leave a road car. A well-written map can help a DPF, because an engine that is running cleanly makes less soot. Short journeys are still what blocks filters, so give it a proper run regularly.
It has already been remapped by someone else — can you look at it?
Yes, and it is a common call. We read what is actually on the ECU now, tell you what is there, and say whether it is sensible or whether it has been pushed too far. If you want it put back or rewritten properly, we can do that. We will not slate another firm's work to sell you ours.
