Mercedes-Benz remapping, mapped to your exact engine
Mercedes diesels turn up at both ends of the job list: Sprinters and Vitos earning their keep, and C-Class, E-Class and GLC cars covering long, quiet motorway miles. Both want the same thing from a map — stronger mid-range pull so the engine is not working as hard — and both are built with enough margin to give it. Everything is done where the vehicle is parked.

Mercedes-Benz remapping FAQs
Is a Sprinter worth remapping if it is always loaded?
Loaded is when it makes the most difference. A van that pulls properly from low revs needs fewer gear changes and less right foot to keep up with traffic, which is easier on the driver and usually on the fuel. Tell us the weight you carry and whether you tow, and the map is written for the van working, not empty.
What about the 7G or 9G automatic?
The engine map is kept inside the torque your gearbox is built for. On a lot of these vehicles a gearbox map can be done as well, which firms up the shifts and stops it changing up too early when you are loaded. If yours cannot take one we will say so instead of taking the money.
Do I have to tell my insurer?
Yes, and we would say that whatever the make. A remap is a modification, and insurers expect to be told about modifications. Most treat it as a straightforward declaration. We can give you the details of what was changed so you can pass them on, and the original file stays saved with us either way.
Can you map a vehicle still under manufacturer warranty?
Technically yes, but be aware a modification can affect a warranty claim, and that is the manufacturer's decision, not ours. Your original software is saved, so the vehicle can be put back to standard before a dealer visit. If the warranty matters to you, speak to the dealer first — we would rather you asked than found out later.
