Vauxhall remapping, mapped to your exact engine
Vauxhalls do the unglamorous work: Vivaros and Movanos on the trade runs, Astras and Insignias covering big daily mileages for people who buy their own fuel. The CDTi diesels respond well because the factory software has to cover a very wide range of uses. A file written for the way you actually drive — and for what is in the back — is a different thing altogether.

Vauxhall remapping FAQs
Which map suits a van that is always full?
Usually the middle one. A loaded van spends its life in the mid-range, so a map that puts the torque there makes the van feel unloaded rather than making it fast. If your miles are mostly motorway and the load is light, the economy-led map is often the better buy. We will talk it through before anything is written.
Can you do it at a yard, or does it have to be at home?
Wherever the van is parked and safe to work on: your yard, a customer's site, the house, or your work car park. That is the point of a mobile service — the van is not off the road for a day and there is no drive to a tuning shop. Most jobs are done in about an hour.
Several vans, same engine — do you do them all together?
Yes, and doing them in one visit saves everybody time. Each van is still read and written individually, because software versions differ even across identical vehicles, and each gets its own original file saved. Ring us with how many and where they will be, and we will sort a time that suits the working day.
Will it still pass the MOT?
Nothing is removed or switched off, so the vehicle is tested exactly as it was before: the filter, the EGR and the emissions systems all stay in place and working. If a van is smoking or failing on emissions, that is a fault to find and fix — a map is not a way round it, and we would not offer one.
