Land Rover remapping, mapped to your exact engine
Land Rovers and Range Rovers are heavy, tall and usually asked to do something: tow a trailer, carry a family and the dogs, or get down a wet track in February. The TDV6, SD4 and Ingenium diesels all leave the factory conservatively mapped, and weight is exactly the case where extra low-down torque is felt most. Written for your vehicle, loaded on your drive.

Land Rover remapping FAQs
Will a remap help with towing a caravan or trailer?
That is the main reason people book one. The gain that matters when towing is pull in the middle of the rev range, where a heavy vehicle spends its time on a hill. You get fewer downshifts and a less frantic engine at 60mph. It does not change your towing limits, your noseweight, or the need to drive to conditions.
Mine does short trips and the DPF light keeps coming on. Will this fix it?
Not on its own, and we would not pretend otherwise. Filters block because short, cold journeys never let them clear themselves. We can look at the filter as a separate job, and a clean engine does make less soot, but the habit that fixes it is a proper run at a steady speed. Nothing is ever removed or switched off.
It has a lot of miles on it — is that a problem?
It depends on the vehicle's condition and how it has been serviced, and we would rather look than guess. Our terms say we advise against remapping vehicles over 90,000 miles, because worn parts show up their weakness under any extra load. If yours is near that, ring us and we will be straight with you about it.
Does it change Terrain Response or the off-road settings?
No. Those are separate systems and they are left exactly as they are — the work is on the engine's software. Low range, hill descent and the driving modes all behave as Land Rover set them. What changes is how the engine pulls, which is usually welcome on a wet, steep track rather than a problem.
